You know what burned me the other day and is still simmering in the back of my mind. A mod on here accussed me and two others of trying to skew the results of a promotion in a thread, it really has got under my skin. I pm-ed him and explained what the deal was and it was legit and he responded saying that it was a valid issue, but after calling us out in a thread he never went back and fixed his statement about it. That is what has me chapped, am i wrong?

I can't believe the South shuts down for a inch or two of snow. Here we get a foot and everything remains open. . I mean I know y'all don't see it much, and might worry it's there because **** froze over, but its nothing to panic about. . Go play in it. Make a snow angel (google it) or go for a drive. Just drive carefully til you get used to it. If you have problems, slip it in neutral and don't turn and brake at the same time as there may not be enough traction for both.

I was personally thinking "was she only in work for an hour? That's no snow at all" ha ha.

Though I do understand why they have more problems with it. I still went to work the morning after Christmas despite getting 14inches of snow and having to literally shovel a path down the city street to get to the main road because they hadn't plowed yet. Ha.

It's not that bad as long as you:
A. Go to an empty parking lot and slide around to get a feel for it.
B. Slow down. DO NOT SPEED.
C. leave extra space between you and the vehicle in front of you.
D. No sudden turns, lane changes or braking. That's where you are most likely to lose control.
E. Budget extra time for your trip. Stay calm, don't rush.
F. Top up your windshield washer fluid.

So far.

We are 20" more than usual for snow this year which I like. It is starting to melt and people are getting back to normal. I love the fact when it snows or is going to snow people head to the grocery store like mad and buy 6 gallons of milk and 10 loaves of bread. I think to myself wow you might be snowed in a whole day or two. Idk what people are thinking sometimes.

People are exactly the same way here. They hear snow in the forecast and off to the grocery store they go.
