They are good, but after seeing the show I don't know if I can really read them & enjoy them. The characters in the books are so different, and so is a good portion of parts of the plot. Jeremy doesn't exist in the books, Elena is the "queen bee" of her school; even has the "I'm hot & I know it" attitude, Caroline isn't as close to Elena, there is a third best friend, Stefan & Damon aren't originally from the town (called Fell's Church in the book)... A lot of the finer points are much, much different.Are they good Kasi? I didnt know they had books out for that show!!

I had to drive Ruby to the Springs for her vet visit so I had it on the defroster baking for about an hour and fifty minutes. I'm looking at the disassembly directions now to take it apart and make sure it's completely dry - will follow your instructions Ed if I need to. It has insurance so I will make a claim and get a new under warranty one, but hopefully I'll be able to use it until the new one gets here.
Good news about Ruby. Most know she was able to get her cast off Sunday night. I was worried her little arm was out of the socket again, but no!
She's was only favoring her arm because her wrist is sore from being in a cast for so long. WHEW!!! Now, the hard part. We have to keep her quiet for the next two months without a cast on. Let's hope that works and she heals fine. And, what a good vet she has! No charge for today's visit - and when I told him I couldn't afford a big bill today, said before he looked at her, he said"don't worry about it, we'll work that out. Let's get her fixed first." When was the last time anyone ever heard a vet say that?
If anyone needs an orthopedic vet in Colorado Springs, these are your guys. Unlike the vet at the emergency clinic, they did not want to rush into surgery, and their first priority is your animal. Thank Goodness there are still people who care!
