I have a bb question. I've been trying to synch my contacts from my curve to outlook so I can import them to my iPhone. I've tried configuring many different ways with dm, but I keep getting the same error.
It reads all the contacts from device, starts to load them, then gets stuck at 20 of 67. The error message I get at that point is " Cannot read application data".
I haven't searched it yet, hoping someone has come across this before. Tried synching to yahoo, but I get the same error, which leads me to believe it's an issue with my Device.
Is the solution in configuration? Maybe one of the options where it says "On conflict ******* wins?

Telus was CDMA for years, like verizon and sprint. CDMA only uses sim cards for international roaming.
About a month ago they rolled out their new umts hspa network (3g gsm).
Gsm uses sim cards for local service. Every carrier has their own sim cards. That's why with gsm, if you switch networks and take your phone with you, you have to switch sim cards too.
I think the sim card is tied to the account, not the phone. That's why someone with 2 devices on the same gsm carrier can switch the sim between both phones, but only have 1 account/line.

For me the battery life isn't an issue. I wrecked the battery on my curve, so I'm used to charging or topping uptwice a day. 3 times on the weekend when I use it heavily.

Battery life for me on any phone is always the pitts. I am on it constantly unless im asleep.

Hmmmm. Are you defeating spell check?
When I type s y ggestion, ( no spaces), a tiny window pops up with the correct spelling. Don't touch the little window unless you want to cancel the suggested spelling.
