Hi everyone again. I'm baaaack! Hahaha. I forgot I was going to put my rib recipe up. This will make the most tender ribs! Mmmmm.

    Mikey's Rib Recipe:
    1. Start with fresh or thawed ribs. This recipe is for meaty baby back ribs.
    2. Rinse under cold water and score underside in lattice shape.
    3. Rub ribs with course salt pepper and spices you like (I use seasoned and onion salt.)
    4. In a shallow roasting pan add cup cold water, 3 tablespoons liquid smoke flavoring, 3 cloves fresh garlic - I slice them, 1 tablespoon dried rosemary.
    5. Place ribs on rack in pan, layering them in a criss cross pattern to provide ample air circulation - do not stack them.
    6. Tightly cover the pan with aluminium foil.
    7. Place in preheated oven at 275 for 2 to 3 hours.
    8. Remove from oven and brush with your favorite BBQ sauce and grill over high heat until browned to your liking.
    9. Enjoy!!!

Oooh pizza!! It's a tossup between pizza and Chinese tonight with WonTon out of town. I may live in the country, but there's always a Chinese restaurant nearby. There's a stripmall about 5 miles away that has a bank, a liquor store, a Subway and a Chinese reataurant.

Nice recipe Mike, mine would probably have you scratching your head. Don't have it down on text though, but my chili recipe I do. I'll drop it on my next post. After I copy yours to notepad.

2 Cans stewed diced tomatoes w/green peppers, celery and onions
    2 Cans black beans??
    1 Can red beans??
1.5lbs. stew meat cut into approximately 1/2" chunks
1 normal sized jar pasta sauce w/mushrooms unless your fungus averse
    2*Packets of chili flavoring, I like Tex-Mex
2 Tablespoons chili powder or to taste.
1/4 cup dark mole asses, the dark ones taste best

Drain and half-*** rinse 1 can of red beans and 1 can of black beans.*Set aside. Just drain, don't rinse 1 can of black beans. Using a potato masher or any other useful device, squish the unrinsed can of black beans into a paste in a crock pot of at least 3 qts.??*?? Add the rest of the ingredients except the tomatoes and mix thoroughly.*Cover and cook on high for about one hour, make sure it reaches a boil. Reduce to low, add the tomatoes and stir again. Continue to cook for another 8 hours or so. Eat, fridge, freeze or share with friends.
For the homeless, substitute 1 to 1.5lbs. ground beef (we wouldn't want to spoil them too much, would we), brown in skillet. Follow rest of recipe with these exceptions. Use a regular pot. Be sure to get all the pulverized beans off the bottom. Add all ingredients and cover. Bring to boil for 3 minutes, then reduce to simmer for another 15. Feed promptly, but do not disclose home address, nor contribute to alcohol or tobacco dependency.

Yep, I'm home, taking time seated upon a throne, after steak, without a bone.

Terrible, I know. But a second weekend in a row at home, that's just fine with me. Even if it wasn't a great week, I'm getting ready for the home stretch towards the end of the year.

I'm good Wolf. Hanging out in our basement getting our friend drunk right now. I didn't realize drinking at home was so much work. First we go to the liquor store, then the beer distributor, then we had to go get shot glasses. And of course right before we started drinking Steve H's brother called because his truck died. Turns out the battery cables were lose.
    .
    Night Shelli!

Drinking at home should be very easy.

    Step 1: walk to kitchen
Step 2: open cupboard and remove bottle of your choosing
Step 3: drink from bottle or be more civilized and get a glass. Shot glasses are totally unnecessary. You aren't running a bar nor are you presumably charging by the shot, so precise amount doesn't matter. Fill any glass to same level or add to taste.

Lol. We had to get the alcohol first. We didn't have any in the house. And we wanted shot glasses so the 3 of us could do shots together and we didn't feel like doing dishes to have clean glasses.

Always keep rum, bourbon, tequila, and vodka on hand at all times as a minimum. For medicinal purposes of course. .

Haha. Bigger glasses make more entertaining evening.

Lol. I think I'm drunk enough already. Oh man I am such a light-weight. I've had one Jack & Coke, one glass of peppermint schnapps and two shots of Jolly Ranchers and I'm gone already. Thank G_d for spell check or this would make no sense.

You are disobeying one of the basic rules of drinking, Kasi . Start with something, drink that until you're done. Mixing those drinks gets you messed up a lot worse and much faster, often to disastrous result. Easiest way to get sick.
