I think most people that are good workers are like that. Some of the best employees at my old job would rather come in sick and get sent home than not come in at all.
I was like that with my old job too. I wouldn't call out unless I was throwing up. There was one time I did call out when I wasn't sick. But it was for an acceptable reason; my dad was having surgery (his heart defibulator removed and replaced because of an infection). Since he and my mom were already divorced and I'm his only child over the age of 18, I was the only person that could sign paperwork or make any decisions if something were to go wrong so I had to be at the hospital that day.

OMG! It does feel like longer though that's for sure! And yes, I know-ive been here that long...does that mean I can get medical/dental benefits now??? LMAO!
