I'm with Chadski, fight fire with fire.

Fortunately, I was stung so many times at once as a kid, they have no effect on me now. So I often get the satisfaction of killing them, with my hands.

I went to look at a damaged light fixture at the back of the house. I was adjusting the broken part when 3 yellow jackets came zipping out. Decided to leave it til I'm a little better armed with my big can of Hot Shot.

I wish I could kill them with my hands, I use the method I said before or yeah with fire. Well, more like a welders torch!

I buy the hornet/wasp spray that shoots 20 feet. I hate getting stung - it's happened too many times. There is a wood wasp that's moving into the state that isn't as aggressive as a yellow jacket - but they look similar. Hate killing the non aggressive ones by mistake. They really avoid stinging so there's no need. Honey bees I leave alone. We need them for pollinating crops, flowers and fruit. And for red fire ants I have this dehydration powder. Couple squirts and you can wipe out a whole colony. I hired someone to spray for black widows. We were being overrun by them in the barn. I hate black widows! Hate them!

Yes the yellow jackets, fire ants and black widows, oh my! Add brown recluse to that too, as Beast I know is a big fan.

Nasty creatures I say, at least we don't have to worry about those sand spiders in Iraq/Afghanistan! Yikes, those spiders are scary!

Brown Recluse isn't as aggressive as a Black Widow, but their bites may be worse.

I like concentrated malathion for stinging insects. The vapors and/or contact with it kills them very well. It kills you too though so do not breathe it or get it on skin. Wear gloves and other protective gear when using it.

Apply at night when they're all in the hive.
