    Morning!

I enjoyed reading about 'venting' last night.
My wife and I have worked it out so that she tells me at the beginning "I am venting". This means I should:

    A. Give her my complete attention.

    B. Try to be sympathetic.

    C. Suspend my normal thought process, which means do NOT offer advice, opinions or solutions.

    I'm going to generalize now.

I think the natural state of a mans brain is 'idle'. Until something catches our attention or we perceive that a situation requires our attention. Then for us its
PROBLEM - SOLUTION - BACK TO IDLE.

Women are different. The natural state of their brains is 1st or 2nd gear. For the most part, women are always thinking about something. I'm really guessing now, but I think a womans brain goes kinda like this:
    A leads into B, B leads to C, C to D, D to E, back to A, then to F, then G, back to A again, then B, then H, A again, then skips to M...
Let me say it again, that's just a guess.

    These are just my theories/observations.
Big secret: Men and women think differently.

So ladies, the next time you ask a guy 'What are you thinking about' and he says 'Nothing', he is probably telling you the truth.

Keep in mind, there are 7 billion variations on this. One for every man, woman and child on earth.

Todays lecture is now concluded. Please hand in your essays Monday morning.
