well, you get earlier upgrades, if you go over minutes you can call and have them "forgive" them with a bonus of 200 or 400 minutes, I'm not sure about the txing, and disctns on accessories-usually 25% or what ever they give you. There's a few other perks I'm not sure of, but you shouldve received a pamphlet in the mail about your "vip" benefits.

Wow they must give VIP status to everybody!
Being VIP has never gotten me an early upgrade. You wouldn't believe the crap I had to go through to get my bf's broken phone upgraded 1 month early. I have gotten bonus minutes & I always get a txt or call if I'm about to go over minutes or txt's or something like that. And they give me free phonebook transfers. That's about it.
