My folks paid for a farrier to come out and teach them how to maintain the horses' hooves. This went fine until dad forgot to approach Puss from the front one day and she kicked him in left inner thigh. Another inch he'd have needed a 'nad prosthesis!

Lmao!! I want no part of working under a horse. There's a reason you don't see too many old ferriers working under them - their bodies give out - it's damn hard work, and there's an art to doing it well. People tend to let down their guard with their own horses. My horses are all well trained and I'm pretty sure they'd never kick, but I had a colt put a 3 inch hole through my lower lip, so I'll never trust a horse like that.

House is doing Ok, but the appliances and machinery keep assuming room temperature. 2 lawn mowers, a weedeater, an iron, the dryer, and a couple of other things.

I know you've been bustin booty lately! I hope you enjoy your w/end and monday. You need to de-stress! My kids go back on sept.2nd and, no, they aren't excited about that either, frankly, neither am I the start of school means the end of summer, and that suuuuuucks!

What a blower! If you have a Habitat for Humanity in your area check them out. The one here offers refurbished appliances suuuuper cheap. And as for the ironing just do what I do, don't!
