Hey everyone! Glad you aren't in any more pain Cate. How is everyone else doing?

I think I may have a heart attack after dinner tonight. We're ordering from this new BBQ Smokehouse in the area that is supposed to have really good food; I ordered a footlong Texas Tommy. I probably won't even be able to eat the whole thing.

I'm working to make Gary, In. and call it a night. Started from Winona, MS. The fun I had with the rain in Bogalusa, La. was wild. Lightning struck close by and started a fire at the paper mill where I was picking up, and spent 5 hours getting my load sorted out.

We love BBQ too, which is why we decided to order from there. Its new and we haven't eaten from there yet, but we know people that have and they say its good.

It was a fairly quiet day, and that's all right. Makes it easy for me to get my work done and keep up. Though the opposite is fun too.


I don't have a respectable BBQ joint within 10 miles of me, and my favorite is over 20, so I stick to my own for the most part, which I love to cook almost as much as I love to eat.

It's weird that there's no tooth pain. My mouth is sore, but I know that this discomfort will vanish! And being sedated was UNREAL. All I heard was "I'm going to put a block in your mouth and..." I was gone. My first "surgery" and it was pretty great.

I might want another one...psych!

I stopped at a lil stop in Kansas the other day and picked up a couple of their BBq subs they make.
One brisket, one BBq beef, plus a serving of their home-made strawberry cheesecake that fills a hamburger serving container. Yum!
