I updated. It's really nice, but there are a few bugs to this leak. Also, if you don't know how to mess with the OS files, upgrading to this isn't a good idea because of everything that could go wrong. It was fairly simple to do but if you aren't comfortable with it, it's best to just stay with the original BBM.


Probably. Mine has been slower than normal today. It was fine yesterday though.

Agreed, the new BBM works well, although the image delivery needs fixed. If you aren't running the latest OS for your device, I wouldn't mess with it. That's where the problems are originating.

I have found that when one uploads a file they need to go the menu/send file route while in a bbm chat. It doesn't work to select a picture file while in the picture folder and selecting send to messenger contact.

I had to restore my backup file twice to get all of my contacts to transfer, Weezy. I also found I needed to do the full restore and not just the messenger databases from the advanced option..

Sorry Mom! IDK, I put the files where they belong, removed the old ones to another folder, and it went smooth as glass. And I was installing an 83XX app in an 8100 device. Funny how different it is for everyone. Not like Mikey doesn't know what he's doing. If anyone could make it easy, he should.

I did download the rar file for the new bbm and installed it, but I found out later the file I downloaded wasn't the right one - even though it said it was, . So I deleted bbm. Later I found the right OTA download and installed it, but I had already deleted the app from my BlackBerry and didn't have contacts to load. I had to restore from a backup to get my contacts. But the OTA I used was a good one
