That site is heavier per page, because you have avatars, signatures, etc. You can reduce your image quality to medium, and still have the gif movement. Faster still if you go to low, but the animation will become still. Do you have "foreground and background colors" and "background images" unchecked. That might help, though I have them on. And which browser style are you using on the site? I have mine on minimal, which helps.

I looked for a Panda bear one, but most of the ones that came up were really bad quailty. TBLer's deserve only the best so those ones just wouldn't do.
