    That was what I thought when I first read it. I'm going with the latter since I can somewhat relate to the guy. I feel bad when I go out without my fiance even though he says it's fine with him. But I don't feel bad because I'm afraid I am making him unhappy; I do because he barely gets to go out and spend time with his friends because of work/school.

    But I wasn't talking about the OP, I'm talking about the person that is telling him that he knows what all girls like and that he needs to apologize and make it up to her for getting sick and leaving early. There is no reason why he should have to apologize for getting sick; everyone does once in a while.
