Ed, you're right, it's beyond my abilities. I recommend incineration, then starting over. Fortunately there are remediation companies that'll handle the job for a modest, ahem, fee.

As far as switching apps goes, I have all my most used icons left out on the home screen & all the others organized into folders so my screens not all junked up. All the main ones are in 1 group so I hit end on my browser & next to that is my messages. I hit end on that & under that is my memo pad & so on & so forth. Its easy for me. Also I loooove the "Today" theme. I've tried others & it is hands down the best for me.
I've not restored my backup still. I'm hoping to get to it tonight or tomorrow. Just been too dang busy.
Oh & I got my old phone from verizon & wiped it. Had top secret info on there that just had to go!
