(Smileys Hut) and what I did was brought up the pix of the smiley I wanted-highlighted the URL link & copied-then pasted it into an email & sent it to myself-then off my bb copied & pasted into auto text!

I hope that was clear explanation and understandable! But it is very time consuming! That's the bad part-so I only did a few tonight

Yay, Daffy's back! I wuve that widdle duck. When I asked for him earlier, I almost post a fatal SureType fopaux. Guess I use the other word the keystroke for duck is too often.

Ok, here's my customer service story, was I right or wrong:
Last fall I bought a small window size Air Conditioner from the grocery store (I know, but it was cheap). I got it home and left it in the barn for a while (couple months) I then started setting it up for summer - I plugged it in and realized it didn't get cold - the whole unit got hot! I put it back in the barn and tried to find the receipt but it was nowhere to be found.

So it sat in the barn most of the Winter, but every time I looked at it, I got mad. So today, I couldn't stand it anymore and took it back to the store I bought it from - it's a kroger and on their website they say they stand behind everything they sell unconditionally. I asked to return it, the head clerk said she needed to ask the assistant manager - who looked to be 12 years old. He was nope, can't take it without a receipt, it cost too much and I needed to get the manufacturer to fix it under warranty. Well, without a receipt, the manufacturer was going to tell me to get lost. The young man told me to have a nice day, but not there.

I was steaming at this point, but kept my cool and said thanks buddy and left. I then went to the Kroger down the street and took it in to return there. The head clerk wasn't sure about it, but took it back anyway and gave me a gift card for the value of the AC, $120 - all I was expecting anyway, I knew I wouldn't get cash. So, should I have just thrown the thing away because I lost the receipt, should I feel guilty for taking it to a store I didn't buy it from, or am I in the right for taking it to another store where they understood corporate policy and customer service? And finally, should I complain about the treatment I received from the kid to the corporate CS department or just let it drop and thank my lucky stars?

I spent a lot of time making that little guy, . It was hard to get a clean cb logo to overlay on him. Then someone helped me clean him up a bit after I had used him for a while. I did get to thinking that he was my avatar for 8 or 9 months, and I should bring him back because he is part of my identity here..

well Mike - yes I prob would write a letter to cs at the store explaining the treatment you rec'd from the "kiddie manager." Because prob is- some young mangers get a power trip from it & refusing the customer-which the customer is always right-especially if your a regular shopper there. As for feeling guilty about going to another Kroger store to "get the job" done- I wouldn't feel guilty. You got your money back to invest in a unit that works! End of story. Done.

Nope Steve said he was going to talk to his boss about getting the money for the phone bill in advance but he wants to be able to use the excuse "my phone is shut off and that's why I didn't get the call" for work tonight, even though he hasn't used it once yet.

But I was on here on WiFi earlier, so I can still surf the web, just no phone calls, texting, BBM, or application use for now.
