Lol. Who makes the dinner in your house? Maybe if you weren't taking a nap

Hear anything back from Walmart? What's going on with that?
My fiance's mom. She's got this thing about others cooking in her house. Whenever I try to make something for myself or for Steve & myself she'll come in and take right over or if she doesn't do that she'll stand there and scrutinize your every move and tell you that you are doing it wrong and that her way is so much better. If I want to cook for myself I have to do it when she is already in bed.

I did go up there and was told the same **** I ws told over the phone - by a manager this time - when they are done going through all the applications they have they'll be calling back those who they tried to contact but never received an answer from. I've applied a few other places in the past couple days; now I get to play the waiting game.

And the literal definition of screw is what?

That's what I thought... Straight to the gutter
Your words were "Screw You", eh?

Here's some definitions for you, peabrain :

    Screw you
Screw you is slang for a rebuke such as 'Get lost' or 'f**k you'.

    screw you
Go to heII, as in You won't help after all? Well, screw you! A euphemism for the still ruder f**k you, this slangy term dates from the mid-1900s.

So I guess you were in the gutter first

Well atleast you've got someone who's willing to cook for you guys That sucks about the job. Things have been picking up in our area. More jobs are available, our place picked back up so I'm working around 40 to 50 hours a week. Anyone know when the US economy will be back to normal?

yes, but you said "screw you" that makes it a phrase and as such, it has a new meaning.
