Are you being for real Brad? Its TOTALLY ok IF you listen to th right kind of music. My daughter goes to sleep to classical music every night. You just need to make sure its nothing depressing or violent because your sub-conscious mind absorbs things much better than your waking mind would.

Well that just sounds uncomfortable But like if I had my cellphone playing through the speaker and charging all night. It doesn't have some... adverse affect on your brain while it's trying to sleep or anything? Got a few songs stuck in my head and it'd be good to listen to them for a few hours to get them out of my head

Thanks BK! I learned that from my grandma. I went through a country music phase as a kid & she made sure that I didn't listen to it at night because she said it was too depressing. I guess I had depressive tendencies back then too. You think that's something your born with? Depression: is it nature or nurture? Hmmm

Lol, I am for real I know people who used to think it was alright to fall asleep with the tv on. I guess the light from it isn't supposed to be good because your brain treats it as sunlight and makes it harder for you to get into a deep sleep. You also get used to it, then when you have to fall asleep with no tv running, you can't do it
