Sorry to hear that. I had 1 experience working in a Machinist's Union. Lasted 2 weeks and got fired for doing too much work.

I hear you on that. I was a steward with the teamsters 10 years ago. To me, it was stereophonic...bs in both ears most of the time. I've never looked back.

Hahaha, BK. I feel you, I work around union tradesman all day...

No doubt. I know one way to work, efficiently. I'm self-motivated, and don't need someone hanging over my shoulder to make sure I know how to work. After that brief stint, I couldn't get another job in that town, too many folks who grew up in those jobs and just got by. I got the last word. I told 'em they wouldn't exist in 5 years.

4 years, 7 months later, all but 6 of them were on the unemployment line, after they were bought out.

Yeah it sucks... Except for sundays The boss takes sundays off, we do brunch and dinner, so instead of all this wierd expensive food, we have prime rib, sausage, bacon, homefries, omeletes Pretty sweet.
