    BK - that's hilarious! They get obsessions with the oddest things. Both cats have a love of these two particular blankets. They would probably go head to head for one of 'em.
    The older cat, Bailey, used to loooove popcorn. No bag was safe

    Shelli - thanks!! Yeah, I'm pleased with it! When I first met the kids, the middle girl hid from me. Yesterday she came up and gave me a random big hug. They took to me real well. Tuesday will be the first day I have them all the full day, as it's a day off school. I'm thinking of something to do with them, possibly out of the house.

    I have stories about children that would make your heart sing, SK. There are some pretty amazing ones.

    I have a gift with kids, and that's been a good thing, coming from my background. I handle parenthood far better than my parents did.

    Before I took up driving, my ex used to take care of the kids. For a few months, I was unable to work after I moved to Missouri. I had one job for 2 weeks and got terminated for working too hard. Yes, too hard.

    It was a union plant, and I knew someone, was able to get a foot in the door. I only know one real way to work, and that is too the absolute best of my ability.

    I looked at what the other shifts did, and increased the output substantially. Average was 23 units a night.

    Within those two weeks. My average was 37 units a shift. And it cost me.

    But I got to spend 6 months taking care of my kids out of it. My friends confided later that it was the only time they ever saw them consistently clean.

    Sorry about the long post, but everyone is probably used to it by now
