    love this song:

She grew up in an Indiana town,
Had a good-lookin' mama who never was around.
But she grew up tall and she grew up right
With them Indiana boys on them Indiana nights.

Well, she moved down here at the age of eighteen.
She blew the boys away, was more than they'd seen.
I was introduced and we both started groovin'.
I said, "I dig you baby, but I got to keep movin' on.
    Keep movin' on."

Last dance with Mary Jane, one more time to kill the pain.
I feel summer creepin' in and I'm tired of this town again.

Well, I don't know, but I've been told,
You never slow down, you never grow old.
I'm tired of screwin' up, tired of going down,
Tired of myself, tired of this town.

Oh, my, my. Oh, ****, yes.
Honey, put on that party dress.
Buy me a drink, sing me a song.
Take me as I come 'cause I can't stay long.

Last dance with Mary Jane, one more time to kill the pain.
I feel summer creepin' in and I'm tired of this town again.

There's pigeons down on Market Square.
    She's standin' in her underwear,
Lookin' down from a hotel room.
    Nightfall will be comin' soon.

Oh, my, my. Oh, ****, yes.
You got to put on that party dress.
It was too cold to cry when I woke up alone.
I hit my last number and walked to the road.

Last dance with Mary Jane, one more time to kill the pain.
I feel summer creepin' in and I'm tired of this town again.

its just puts me in the best mood and makes me wanna go to the beach and be free!

I'll add the other 2 lines in a while, it was a spontaneous moment, and I finished it while I e-mailed my wife.

Glad to hear you're dry. I used to have a load of weather pix, including some lightning pics, but they were lost.

A little Tom Petty today, Amber?

Music can certainly give us inspiration. I've only collected about a third of what I would like to have. But I add more regularly.

Hey Jason. See the outside picture above? That's what my weather will be for the next 5 months. It'll rain in the afternoon/evening just enough to cool things down. We don't even pay attention to the weather report in the Summer - it never changes.

Great, thanks! Loving my new job.
And my Kahlua plays fetch. Elgin gave him a purse strap with a knot in the middle and on each end, and he could play fetch with that thing for hours. He drops it at your feet and meoowwwwws until you give in.
He also has a stuffed lion he stole from me (when he was only slightly bigger than the lion; now he's 3x its size) that he just LOVES to wrestle with.

    Cats rock.

Thanks BK, he is out of our Paint Mare and our trainer's champion, Endeavor Doc. Our trainer, Guy Vernon is one of the best in the country - Tanya has known him since he was starting out so we always have a place in his barn.

If one does a search for Endeavor Doc and Guy, you'd find he was the first horse to complete a pattern bridle-less at the US Equestrian Reining Trials - it broke and he went ahead and completed his run essentially without reins.

Our cat, Dubbers, is obsessed with straws. She sees one, stalks, steals, and hides them. We might
actually find them when we move.
