It is a small world! I have a tremendous book my step dad left me. It's the West Point Atlas of American Wars. It's the first edition that covers everything from the French and Indian wars of the early 1700's through the Korean conflict. Each page, or series of pages show troop movements along with a description of the action. It mostly focuses on American and Allied forces, it goes into detail the First and Second WW's before we entered them. I never had a clear idea of the island campaigns before I read these books.

Well, Mike , those are some amazing things. Many people have no idea of some of the things that happened during the wars. I am hoping to add Memorial Bricks to the WW-I Museum iin Kansas City one of these days. My kids just love the place. One of the things I do when they take trips with me is teach them history and visit historical sites. This last Spring break, they got to see the ocean for the first time. Was a first for the wife, too.
