Yes it is. That's why we'll be going. Treatment is antibiotics. I'm assuming they'll put her on some at least as a precautionary measure.

Well, I THINK its kind of the way a mosquito would work. If the tick carries Lime disease, it could transfer to the person it bit, or drank, or however that part works.

I think infection with Lime Disease is far and few between, but all my best thoughts for ya weezer

Thanks. I, being the paranoid mother that I am, spent a half hour looking up deer ticks and lyme disease. Chances are slim, but better safe than sorry. Very easily treated, but if left can be bad.
