Whatever idjit at Ford decided to call the Fairlane Wagon a Flex crossover should be kicked repeatedly in the head. I like everything but the name.

I think I'm screwed. I'm going to try and go to the Sprint store tomorrow and see if they can restore the phone. I tried to restore it the two different back ups I had, but no luck. I can still make phone calls, they connect, but Neither end can hear anything.

I did note, however, that if I press a number button on the berry, I can hear the tone on the other phone.

Interesting huh? Not really interesting enough to make me feel any better

*pouts lower lip* I guess VAD won.

Should I get MaxMem off my phone? Will it raise any concerns about the warranty?

Dang! You have to remove MaxMem. That could be your whole problem!

I would say try and delete anything and everything that you may have down loaded since this problem started

PLEASE tell me you joking! You know, I used be all over anything technology. What the heck happened? I was all in it. Guess I got married, had 3 kids, and turned 23 - screwed it all up.

Okay, so, after going an restoring my phone, and running the app wizard thing, i see the VAD is back on my phone.

So, tell me if I'm okay,

I should run maxmem, remove VAD, REMOVE MAXMEM, and then isntall VLINGO???

Please tell me it is this easy. I've been hanging my sad head in shame all day. I think my wife thinks she did something wrong. lol!

Okay, so, here's my question...sss..Maxmem is still on my phone, however, now that VAD is restored, the calls are working.

Should I a) go the the sprint store and trigger the VAD loop and demand they fix it.
or
b) Do the excersize i described last post?

well i know i had an issue wit my berry and thats what I did
got rid of anything that i had downloaded right before the issue started wit my berry and ...it fixed it right up for me
and if you got rid of something and you restore ya berry whatever you got rid of will come back

Alright guys, thank you for the quick help. I think I'm going to try to remove VAD one more time, then Remove Maxmem, and then install VLINGO. Then give my wife her attention.

Okay- so I've just confirmed that when I delete VAD it disables something with my phone calls that stops my mic from wotking and the phone receiver speaker from working. So SOL I am and Sprint will be getting an earful since restoring VAD restores the loop that is driving me insane.
