Morning everyone, I see how you are. You wait till Cynder and I can't keep our eye's open anymore (yes, I actually was tired last night, but of course then woke up at 4:30), then show up looking for fun. You know where I hide the key to the room with the dancing girls, let them out when you want. Just be sure to put them back when your done, we wouldn't want them escaping would we?

No wonder why people suck off the system. My fiance and I are both unemployed now, and collecting unemployment. We're actively seeking work...and I mean actively. Neither of us like this sitting on our asses thing.
However, this is the rather sick part:
Between the two of us, unemployment will give us $3,148 per month.

Now, let's pretend I'm an all-too-common beyotch who's young, unemployed, and has a child in tow that was from a former boyfriend. So, I'd be getting food stamps on top of that, and of course, some poor b@$+@rd would be paying child support on top of that. Now, on top of THAT, I know a girl I *used to* call a friend who's been on Social Security since she's been 18. Why? Because she has "bipolar disorder."
And of course, let's not forget that the state offers special housing that's free or low-cost to certain individuals.

So, really. No wonder why there are so many people who live the life, getting handout after handout, never working, never being responsible, and who end up being able to afford designer clothes and handbags and a yearly vacation.

Duuuude.

Soda, do not feel as if unemployment is some sort of welfare hand out to feel guilty about. It is simply an insurance policy being paid out, just as any other valid insurance claim would be. It is a policy purchased for you by your previous employer - in effect it was paid for with your labor. That employers can fire people for getting sick svcks, and she should be ashamed of herself - and we can all hope Karma is real.
