Tj can you tell me the easiest way to attach multiple documents or photos to an email? Or why can't I find the "share" button in the menu system in the photo app? I'm certain I'm missing something

PB works for you obviously, but not all of us. Like it or not RIM employees read the forums. Maybe if they start listening to some of the complaints people wouldn't be switching
Ha Ha! I sense your sarcasm, perhaps you need to re-read what I wrote.

Weird thing is he made a similar post last november. He was putting his playbook for sale on ebay that night and was hoping for RIM to go bankrupt.

Yep . As for the last part, I get what you're saying, but I think getting a finished BB10 OS finished, working and out the door is TOP priority for RIM's current situation. I am sure RIM employees have been taking notes and hoping many of them will be addressed.

Ok I. Just had to post this since it sounds like NOBODY CARES ABOUT SECURITY any more. After flip flopping myself and after using several android phones including the samsung note, im done with android. They really expect you to ignore the fact that every app is pulling your personal data and profile and sending it to the mother ship. Yes, so do bbry apps to an extent, but at least i can serve as an my own administrator on my own phone and tablet. I can lock it down to keep my data and activity secure. This is not the case in android embedded and downloaded apps!!

If you defect lime the walrus, think twice about your security and privacy. Ask yourself why apps should be able to 'record' your phone calls or read your text and emails. (or was i the only one out their to see what permissions my phone was assigning my apps?) Too big brother for me.

Bbry has always been more secure and looks like they are sticking to their knitting.

Maybe this is why the apps are less in numbers.

I say keep the toys for the kids. Let the adults use the bbry products to make money and run businesses!

Sorry OP you lost me. You keep jumping back and forth from BB to PB then back to BB and android. If you have a BB "empire" and are "losing sleep" for days and day because Playbook beta software will not run on your phone you have a number of other serious issues. I sure hope Lloyd over at Android has the meds you need. Try iOS, and WinPhone RT (whatever), and webOS as well. Heck what you need is a feature phone and a laptop.

A tab or a phone should be your tool NOT your master; please find one that does what you need. The phone was invented over 100 years ago; the modern computer was invented over 50 years ago. Learn to deal with it and try to keep up.

Good luck to you, old man. My Android phone has been replaced by my 9930, and my aging iPod touch has been replaced by my android phone. My traveling laptop has been replaced by my PlayBook.

It's all about finding what works best for you.

I think the OP is quite accurate in terms of articulating the feelings of many - perhaps not those who post on Crackberry - but of many people in the average consumer market. The post did not say that the Playbook sucked as we've seen in the past; rather, the post indicated that he simply can not keep on waiting for things to be better; for the much promised and talked about features to finally show up; and for RIM to truly deliver on what they built as the only professional tablet on the market - a professional tablet that was launched with many software components, at best, lacking, and at worse, half-as*ed.

Again, no one is saying that the Playbook is a bad device; rather, RIM is the culprit here - they royally screw*d up the launch; the delivery; the execution; and the support of the device. It is only now, almost a year later, that some of the deficiencies are being addressed. That is and was simply too long of a wait. The result is what you see in the OP's post - frustration, irritation, or, worse, simply giving up and leaving RIM. And I would bet that those individuals who are in the "giving up" crowd wont be likely to return and give RIM another chance.

Very well said Sir. I agree.

A year later we are still waiting and hearing the same old tired song

    It's coming.
    The PB has great potential.
    The hardware is great.

Same song. Just a different singer. (Thor)

Thor and this "let's rock 'n roll this" is getting old fast.

"Put up or shut up" comes to mind as a replacement catch line for RIM.

Nope, mostly a bunch of apologists who are willing to overlook the pb's faults for no good reason. Kind of like RIM Has done for a while...

I've never owned an android or apple anything and have zero desire to, but I can totally see other people's points when they say there are weaknesses that have yet to be addressed.

Listen, I bought 3 pbs right after we were promised native email with 2.0. When 2.0 came out, it was still half baked at best. I'm all for the tools not toys thing, just give me a damn bb product that can email. I do find it odd that none of the previews of bb10 show any of the real email experience.

the BB FUD is at an all time high.. I don't understand why ppl talk ill about RIM or BB.. there is so much thought gone into developing this entire system.. its shameful when ppl keep posting about how bad or useless or ancient the RIM system is..

Personally I think it's more so because RIM is in a weak position now.. so consumers can throw their weight around and feel special..

I'll say it again.. If you don't like BlackBerry.. you just don't understand what BlackBerry is all about.. I cannot emphasize enough on the key points of the BlackBerry system.

Anyways the country doesn't have much left besides Apple.. so to hate on it would be kick yourself in the a99.. i understand..

Ok I usually stay out of these type of posts but its really getting on my nerves. As a BB user and RIM supporter for the past 6 years currently owning a Torch 9800 and playbook i fully understand where OP is comming from. He wasnt trolling he was making a rather thoughtful remark of his BB experience and why he is leaving BB behind.

All you die hard trolls and BB fanboys get a fing life and clue. i cant believe a phone is so central to your life where any negative comment to your brand is like seeing your child or spouse getting attacked. its a fing phone or tablet nothing more no other brand is better then others here is why.

    1) All companies want to make as much money with as little output as possible. They dont care about customers just bottom line.

2)All of the four major phone eco systems have their up and downs pros and cons

3)RIM is really not that great never was here is why. They where the king of the hill in smart phones because no direct compition in the beginning most importantly once the consumer heard of a thing called BBM where u can save money on SMS and mms costs and plans the consumer flocked to an enterprise business device. Guess what all you fan boys and trolls RIM has direct compition in smartphones and in im clients that are the same if not better the BB depending on platform explaining why they getting kicked.

I am glad RIM is finally getting it and reinventing themselves with BB10. But lets face reality here folks. RIM has the same chances at 1) kicking and coming out on top again with new os 2) folding and selling off to highest bidder to make profit that way before BB10 sees light of day 3) its another half assed venture like playbook and qnx. Great hardware with amazing OS but poor functionality with us waiting for said functionality with future updates like playbook.

I am also leaving BB for android not because it sucks or i hate it simply because its dated and getting old. As a techy i want to try something new nothing wrong with that. lets face it current BB7 is just like BB5 only diff small add ons and performance and flow advancements. i, like our fearless leader Kevin wants to try something different to better educate myself on phone technology today so i can better appreciate what RIM does well and not so well.
Unlike all u blind aholes on this forum on both side of the fence that attack anyone with a different point of view. just my two cents

There should be a cynical f**kbag sub-section of this forum so I don't need to hear or read this DRIVEL. I know it's my choice to read, but sometimes ridiculous thread titles pique my interest.

REGARDLESS, CrackBerry is extremely searchable as far as google, etc goes. We're continuing to let negative trash just linger on here and most of all, start ridiculous and pointless pissing matches between everyone.

I honestly just want to love it here again, really...
