Subaru are far too small on the interior. Thought about a wrx a few years back but couldn't handle the lack of interior space.

Ah the stories I could tell you about my Forresters. I currently have 2004, and started with a 2000 then move up to a 2003. What's that you say, I've had a 2003 and 2004 Forrester. That's right. Got the 2003 in April 2003, and between July 03 and July 04, I got clobbered 4 times. None of the accidents were my fault and I had no out of pocket expenses (other than having to start a new loan). After the 4th time I decided to scrap it and start over.

Never had a scratch, ache or pain on my body from these run ins.

For my money it's the safest car on the road, not to mention it's awesome in the snow.
