So we have been attacked in our home by a stomach bug. Upset stomach, headache, nausea, no fever, but it sucks! My husband got it. Then my son, now I have symptoms. We went to dinner at a friends house and I guess they just got over it. The next day boom! My husband got real sick. Wondering if anyone else is going through it too? Now my mother-in-law has it! My baby is doing much better. But now I'm feeling it!

No fever means it's not infectious or the cause isn't infectious (non bacterial/viral). Judging from your history and story I think that's food poisoning caused by food toxins since you immediately got the symptoms. You just got to let the toxins out and just rehydrate with ORS or hydrite. Never hydrate with plain water and softdrinks. Eat your usual meal. And observe.

Hope you all get well soon.

Wow! Yes we ate my friends homemade lasagna. It could have been the cheese she used. Idk but it's gone now! Phew! It was a 2 day thing. I think it was food poisoning. But things are getting back to norm. Thanks!

The stomach bug went around a professional NBA team as well and a bunch of players got sick. I'm beginning to think it's the stomach bug, and not poisoning

I think what he meant was, technically / medically speaking that there's no such term as a stomach bug In fact, the sickness isn't really located in the stomach. It's in the intestines. Probable offenders are viral, bacterial, parasites and toxins.

If they were just getting over something, the germs were still in the air. They also prepared food for you as well. How long did your friends have this virus? Glad everyone's better!

Lol you guys are so funny! I'm home with a toddler so excuse my medical terminology! At our house we say stomach bug cause it's easier to say and the kids understand it and we get use to saying it. Lol we are better it was most likely food poisoning only lasted about 2 1/2 days. My friend had made her own lasagna from scratch, it could have been something she used. But we are all doing better thanks.
