A man walking along a railroad track sees a train thundering at high speed towards him.
Instead of immediately jumping off the track, he charges directly at the train for about ten feet and only then gets off the track.

    Why?

Because he was in a tunnel or on a bridge ten feet from the end,or the train was on the other track.

    You got it!
My first riddle was too hard and too many people complained.
These last two were way too easy.
I'm going back to the hard ones!!

    A rest???
    Not a chance!
But, you have my permission to sit the next few ones out.... for a while, a least!!
Ya see, there are a few folks here, with higher authority that would like to see more...
It was hoped that it would perhaps catch the attention of the few people that have nothing better to do than whine and complain.

Who would have guessed that some spoiled brats would find something to complain about on a simple thread of Riddles! Go figure!!

Actually didn't see the rest of the post. Might have been easy but so what. The hard one make us old people's brains forge new territory. Keep them coming. I'm Probably not the sharpest knife in the drawer but probably the most used one.

Well, I'm here to give you competition.
I'm 65 and living proof that you do regress as you reach my age.
I started out at 65 this morning hit 32 around midday should reach about 18 by midnight. And I can assure you that I am the ONLY sane being on the entire planet.
The fact that no one will acknowledge this just proof that everyone is in denial and that's just not my area.

To prove my point further, in the 60's I tuned in, turned on and dropped out. To this day, I have never had any thoughts of looking for the off switch.
I did have a moment of clarity ONCE and it scared the hell outa me!!

And I still have all my hair which is below my waist.
Yep... Good clean livin' (hee, hee)

A long time ago I tried on what comes so natural to you humans but it didn't work for me.
I don't have the ability to hate, to get mad, , or to ever raise my voice. I learned very early on that going "dark" is just a total waste of energy. It clouds your mind and you become unbalanced. It acconplishes nothing and only delies the inevitable which is to get over it and carry on!
Say some one crashes your brand new car. Simply knowing that all the wasted negativity will not fix what has happened is enough to not go there but stay focused on what's ahead of you and learn how easy it is to stay on a positive path.

In doing that YOU are in control of those around you and you'll see that humans by nature are followers and look to someone to lead them. Unfortunately, it's also human nature to usually choose the wrong person.
Has anyone actually even wondered how America got to the point that the two people that should have been imprisoned years ago, the two most corrupt people were the only people you were given to become the most powerful person on the planet and you still picked the worst of the two??

I am an absolutely happy person. If you look hard enough you can find the humor in anything. And, these are very existing times. Just the fact that the world may not be here in 4 years.
The last time things were this exciting was in 1962 with Khrushchev and the Cuban Missile crisis. Only 24 hours stood between Russia backing down and Kennedy preparing to launch.
But that was child's play. You remember the bomb the leveled Hiroshima! Russia just made public The SATIN II. 10 times the power of the bomb that ended World War Two.
If launched it will immediately destroy the entire Western Hemisphere and in two short months will bleed across the globe but that won't happen because our nuclear arsenal is set to automatically respond leaving the entire planet to waste!

Since the United States was founded in 1776, she has been at war during 214 out of her 235 years of existence.
And finally we will see war here in the US of A.
The largest and most powerful terrorist organization on the planet up till now is about to get what's coming to them. In our lifetime we will know first hand how human insanity kills and and destroys!

It just doesn't get more exciting than this!!
