But I'm watching the newest episode of Entourage as I type this and he is definitely rocking the Bold.

So I guess if Ari Gold who runs hollywood uses one, it means that the Bold is definitely for the elite lol.

I bet it's because they want to show Ari is a powerful guy in hollywood you know. Some guy who is making millions and driving a ferrari 430 cant be seen with a pansy "iphone"

And "E" is rocking the tour or curve 8900. Very hard to discern because tops look familiar.

It's most likely not product placement. It's just showing that these guys are synonymous with fame, power, status and so it only makes sense they rock Blackberry's.

Entourage is an amazing show and its great product placement for AT&T. The curve last season and now the bold. As long as he's not seen with the new palm he'll continue to kick ****!

I don't think E is using the tour. I thin it is the bold, because it is on the edge network. The tour is on the evdo network. I'm sure AT&T sponsors all the phones on the show. All the bolds and the iphones kinda make me think that.

I thought it was a Bold, too -- the size looked right and I didn't catch a glimpse of the top of the phone, which would have been the other distinguishing feature.

Ari Gold was definetly using a Bold for the last couple of episodes in s6.

And they are definetly showing off the phones a lot more, first episode (season 6) they showed a table of four different phones lol.

I'm pretty sure "E" was using the curve 8900... It looks very similar to a Tour. I definitely know it wasn't the bold because it was black gloss at the top and the bold has the signature bezel all around.

Funny though... the 5'4 guy gets the smallest blackberry lol.

E is defn. rocking the 8900. you can tell from s06e02 at 23:42 (i'm avoiding studying for an organic chem final) seeing the flash bulb of the device fully on the right side (device back facing you) as opposed to the 9630 which has it on the left middle.

agreeing with some previous posts, i don't feel as though there's sponsorship on a full scale level. The 8900 on t-mobile and 9000/iphone on at&t suggest no real sponsorship as well as the fact that turtle is rocking a full QWERTY non-BlackBerry device as seen by the fully-white number keys on an otherwise black button keyboard seen at 24:01 in s06e04 (again, procrastination is wonderful). at least, i don't think a blackberry with that layout exists, i could be wrong.

i should get back to studying.
