So, I'm watching this long commercial video thing for the Amazon Fire Phone, and the main feature they boast about is the glasses-less 3D thing and how you can tilt the phone to do different things. This is all neat and all, but then they started talking about the "auto scroll" where you tilt the device forward and it scrolls down the page for you... Again, neat and all, but the comments of the people (most likely paid actors) in the video who are so wowed by this has me very confused. Like at least 2 or 3 of them commented on how the autoscroll allows them to scroll through an article without using two hands...

I have to ask, WHO THE HECK USES TWO HANDS TO SCROLL??? I mean, I hold my Q10 with one hand, and with the thumb of that SAME HAND I scroll down the page as I'm reading... Um, am I just weird and was born in a different planet or is this how you guys do it too???

Sometimes, when I have to scroll for a really long time, I use both my thumbs and pretend they're walking through a long adventure.

Me, too, although I've got the space bar to scroll , I rarely use it... and the screen of the Q is so tiny?? Have you thought!! ;-)
I also use the fast-scroll/stop method: I just give the page a scrrolling fast move and when arrived the part I want to read, I stop the fast scrolling movement by putting the thumb on the screen again... a sort of a scrolling-kick/stop ;-)

Scrolling slowly with the right thumb at the right screen edge, and when that thumb arrives at the top, you lift it up and the left thumb starts it job at the left screen edge. It provides continuous scrolling and no interruption of the scrolling movement... By a good eye/thumb coordination, I can read "faster"... no, say with a reasonable pace like in the speed-reading technique(s) although I have not a very fast reading pace :-/
