Yes indeed - last night UK time. I've seen a date (on Twitter, so it may or may not be right! ) of 15th January to air on BBC America.

Short seasons, but each ep is pushing 90 minutes long, so it's a movie really. Fantastic!

Yes, it was on the UK channel "BBC One" at 21:00 on 01 Jan - was pretty good too.

BTW: watched the first show of the new season last night. Loved it. Did anyone else catch the Blackberry being used to track the people Sherlock was having an eye kept on? I couldn't tell what model it was, but the BB was very visible.
