Going to a morning training on the 4th===will have 3 hours dedicated to second life---I am still trying to figure out why my school district thinks an elementary school teacher would need this but it is better than the alternative so I jumped on it!
A friend started me playing second life in 2005. The game itself is pretty decent, and you can meet people from all over the world. I don't play much now, but it can be fun if you meet someone there.
I play. And I make extra real world income as a DJ on there. Feel free to say hey to Sirius Sodwind.
Now if someone would make the mobile app for my blackberry pearl, I wouldn't miss so many IM's, lol.
i dont really get this game...
i think i need to just figure it out maybe??
Not much to get really. Just think of chat with an avatar. Everything else is just window dressing for the most part. And the nice thing about that window dressing is it's only limited by your imagination, and it can make you real world cash.
Sorry Brandi, unless that BB has a good video card and a lot more memory than most computers, SL won't be running on any cell phone in our life times. Heck since it's beta days (SL), will barely run on my current desktop computer.

You can run a simple version of SecondLife on the iPhone ... there is an app for that called "Pocket Metaverse" . It wont be long before there is a SecondLife app for BlackBerry.
