My wife once opened a can of tomato paste and literally as soon as she punctured the can it started spraying everywhere. Ceiling and walls... Well they sent us $50 in coupons with an explanation that once in awhile the coating may not be perfect and the acidic tomatopaste reacts with steel.

After we got the $50 in coupons I told my wife to only buy the bigger tins so if it happened again maybe we would get $100.
