My wife's SD card* has stopped writing new data on it, but still reads data. It won't let me format the card, either through her Z10 or via my laptop card reader. Lots of room on the card too.

Any suggestions?

What happens when you try to format the card? What does the computer say?

I'm still researching about this, although I read somewhere on the Web, quite a similar issue although that is a USB flash drive, it is a hardware problem.

"It seems that there is some kind of issue with your memory card. To rule that out,i will suggest you to try formatting the same using any other card reader or even another PC. You could even try formatting it with a Linux-based machine. Formatting through Disk Management is usually a sure-shot way to getting the job done,but if all the above method fails then there is surely an issue with your Card. To get rid of that,you will have to replace it with a new one."
