Note to BlackBerry: watch the Microsoft Windows 10 Hardware Event if you want to see "showmanship" and excitement that even exceeds the Apple events. The overuse of the word "insane" notwithstanding.

Microsoft's platform strategy "Windows in your pocket" is the most interesting thing in mobile right now. Android 6, iOS 9, they're variations on theme. MS is nailing it. As little as I need "apps" on my mobile device, having "full Windows" software on a powerful mobile device makes everything else kind-of pointless.

All this cloud stuff is great for backups, but when you have what was 5 years ago a "supercomputer" in your pocket, why would you WANT to push the processing to the cloud? I don't, I want to have it WITH me, and that was what I thought I could get from BB10 eventually (with Blend, Remember, Hub etc.), but with BB10 winding down, and Android being Android, and OSX being distinct from iOS, Microsoft's strategy really resonates.

I'm leaning towards Windows 10 phones at the moment and their phones look really interesting. Can't wait until they're getting more developers on board and it will definitely get them because of Windows 10 integration into all their products. This is how they're going to kill two birds with one stone.

To BB or not to BBBBBB...?

It's over but "video on demand will be available shortly". I'm sure you will get a link to it from Microsoft ? Official Home Page.

Yes This will be my next platform if BB OS10 is done. I have been drooling over the surface pro for a while.
