Yesterday we lost one of the greatest singers of all-time.

The incomparable Teddy Pendergrass. He may be gone in the physical, but will live on in our hearts and through his music. My condolences to the Pendergrass family.

Heard about Teddy this morning on GMA. The last of the great MALE singers has gone on to heaven to sing with Lou Rawls, Barry White, Isaac Haynes, and Luther Vandross. All of them are and will be sorely missed. All day I've been humming my favorite Teddy P.songs that he did with the Blue Notes and his solo work which include:

When Somebody Loves You Back
R.I.P. Teddy we will miss you!

Well there are still some greats out there, but we've certainly lost a fine one with Teddy. May God bless his soul, famiy and friends.

Colon cancer. He had surgery last summer. No doubt the accident that paralyzed him contributed to his early death.
