Anyone know if QNX for cars is just infotainment or if it can be the brain of the entire cars computer and electronics system (ignition, steering-parking assist, etc)? You know, the non-entertainment stuff that really matter to your well-being in a car.

If so, has BlackBerry / QNX put security measures to make them "secure"?

Wondering because of many articles coming out as of late talking about vulnerable cars.

As far as I know QNX can be used to integrate with the sensors of the car.

I don't know which manufacturers does it though.
