    Push Ups Fitness is a great free PlayBook application that allows you to track how many push ups you can do, and work towards getting you to do more and more.

    So, how many can you do?

    Go ahead and laugh, but I did five on my first try, and I will be working all month to get that higher!

    Don't own a playbook, but do 100 pushups pretty much every night, as my "medicine", for my type 2 diabetes. So far it's helped me keep things under control without the need of meds or insulin for the past 11 years, so at least for me, it works.

    Keep up the good work on getting that 5 to 10+, ESPECIALLY if you are under 30 years old.

    Last time I bothered to do pushups I did 5 sets of 40.
    That was probably 5 years ago, I could probably still do 40 or so, maybe.

    When I was quitting smoking I'd do 20 every time I wanted a cigarette. Fast forward
    some smoke free years later and I now do 6 (six) sets of 100 spread out through the day.

    I've managed 50 at one point using one hundred push ups but have never managed to finish the full 6 week program!

    Ive completed week 3 Day 3 one more than one occasion, looked at week 4...and managed to find something else to do when I was supposed to start it!

    One thing I will say though is that this program and the use of weights really has made a difference to my arms and shoulders!

    I can do maybe 20-25 depending on the floor surface

    I can the same number with kids sitting on my back, it is my wrists that fail me,
