Your missing the point. It can happen no matter where you store your information online. The best bet is to pay cash for PSN or Live cards. But to claim that one stands a higher chance than the other is not an easy claim.

Actually that is incorrect. They were able to obtain the login credentials for the customers, but no CC information. Then you just had to change your password and they updated their security. That is why they are charging for PSN now, to put more money into security and reliability. I do agree that XB Live was a better experience on the last gen, but think that gap will not be there on the next gen.

Don't quote me but, I believe Sony got hacked by, I forget the name of the elite hackers, because they locked out the ability to boot Ubuntu. People wanted the ability but it allowed vulnerability with the console. I don't blame Sony.

It took a professional/s to hack the LOG IN details from Sony.. Yes, it went down for a bit so they could do a full infrastructure rebuild. Not long after the xbox was released... It was hacked... When they thought they updated the security.. It was hacked again.. The current flash for xbox 360 is the last one because microsoft have given up trying to beat this ONE person. who's security is worse? :P. Yeah, the PS3 is flashable, but it took a LOT longer to figure out and you have to be running an older version. It doesn't work on all the new patches :L.

I didn't start this for people to start the old Xbox is better, NO PS3 is better!

Xbox LIVE is required to play online, but carries over if you currently have a membership. Playstation Plus is required to play games online with the PS4. Same price as Xbox LIVE. It also carries over if you currently have a membership.

So really, in order to have your PS4 operating at the same level of functionality as the Xbox One will out of the box, it will cost you about $520 vs. $499 for the XBone.

Being forced to have kinect is not ok. Having it come with the system doesn't justify the extra $100. The console specs difference makes the PS4 a lot more bang for your buck. GDDR5 way out performs DDR3! The PS4 is going to be up to 50% MORE powerful than the XBOX ONE. Why would I pay $100 more for less? I have a kinect (was given to me, well left to me when a roomie moved to Arizona) attached to my 360 and I never use it... Wouldn't have ever bought it.
