Yeah! I needed a hard drive and a power cord for it. Now it's running Ubuntu 9.04 and will have a USB wifi stick this saturday.

Actually you could if you and your laptop are mobile and able to connect to an unsecured wifi network.

nothing real special, but its a step up.. its an hp dv4, intel core 2, 4gb ram, lightscribe, 500gb hd. i did the name change because when i first started out here, i thought it would just be my login username, and didnt realize the world would see it. i use that login name for other sites as well.
