It's just the wasted time. And so many updates. Seems like every day. I remember in the PlayBook forum people were clamoring for more and more updates. I should turn them off. I really thought I was a goner this time when it got stuck at the Windows logo every time. Luckily I had a restore point to go to. It's one of my older devices.I don't throw anything away...not even my Pray books. Haha.

Hey G, yeah, I turned off all my machines for "auto updates", I pick and choose 'em.
and yeppurz, my Praybooks have all gone of to the magic realm of the crusher.......
But I still have one dead one, WITHOUT the "Praybook Bulge", that I use for a coaster next to the front door, outgoing coffee cups go there as my bu** goes out the door......

I fixed one by doing an in place upgrade. But have to be able to load windows, which I got it to do somehow by unplugging it for awhile and kept restarting it but shutting down with holding the power button.

Yeah, if you force shutdown twice, it will do a repair. If it can't repair, it will give you reset options or advanced options to go to restore point, command prompt, etc. I was able to uninstall that update. But it came back recently and I now have it blocked. Time will tell...
