Two very different cars. The Camaro was a beast, but couldn't take a trip with it without mortgaging my house to pay for gas. I drove it to local shows. The Mercedes goes everywhere - as long as the weather is nice. Otherwise it is garaged. It's an '04 but looks practically brand new. Love the hard-top convertible feature and it is a real pleasure to drive. The camaro was a real head turner, and loud. Didn't even have a radio in it - would be tough to hear (besides, the engine was music to my ears). I do miss that car.
Yah, it's hard to have a classic car as an every day driver. But when you do drive it, it's fun. :-)

Nice one, looks like it's straight out of the showroom. Hope you'll have lots of fun with it and trust me, Mercs in general age real well!

Ah, that would explain the extreme departure in design philosophies between them! Thanks for the clarification. :-)

And your signature is kind of funny for this because that was basically his downfall wasn't it? Lol.

Oh yeah... I had forgotten about his drug problems. That does fit.

The signature is actually a quote from Legend of Neil, though.

Yeah but is it a dock inside an armrest (or glove compartment) or a dock so that you can actually see the smartphone screen and use it as GPS?

Many only support the 9900 or struggle to keep up with the newer phones though.

2001, 2lt Beetle 104k miles and still going strong. By no means the fastest of cars, but very reliable and if i'm actively thinking about saving fuel I can eek out just over 40mpg on my daily commute.

It's a dock inside an armrest, but you have access to messages, contacts, media and such. Volkswagen is working on a system which mirrors Android for navigation and some apps and Apple already has Carplay which is available in some very new cars.
