Thanks, what I love about the 300C SRT8 is it's pretty much as tame as you want it to be, nice manners for just driving around. But when you mash on it, it freaking roars to life, plants you in the seat, and is into felonious speed territory, instantly. Excellent handling and braking even for a big car. Interior trim is a little cheap but the seats are nice and at the price point it's hard to find fault with it. After all it's not an E-class AMG though it will give one a run for it's money!

I thought a little bit about getting a Challenger SRT8 but after kicking it around with some Mopar forum guys it seems I'd be giving up a lot of bells and whistles you can only get in the upper trim level 300C. Too bad you can't get the 300C with the 6 speed.

Yes I would take it over the Challenger as well. Such a nice driving car. Funny thing was when I was looking at the interior of the challengers, they just brought over a lot of the interior finishings from the 300.

They did. It's now called the Scion FR-S.

The FR-S or BRZ is a new 86 Corolla GTS not the Supra. Sorry to disappoint. You can even find the AE86 branding on the new cars.

There are rumors of a new Supra in the works though.

Could not agree more.. potentially could look at it as more of a Celica.. which could potentially spawn ideas for the Supra. But honestly speaking nothing has come close to replacing it.. why I still role in a Supra =P

Yup. Not sure why people would get the 550 just for the better engine and it's gasoline. Diesel gets me 959km in one tank.
