I'm almost certain that Brazil will do pretty good this world cup which could start with the opening tonight.

I'm hoping for the US to gather a few points too and I think we'll see interesting games with Portugal, Spain and Argentina.

I'm sure Switzerland, that's where I'm from, will show the usual bad performance

In general, I bet the climate factor is not to be underestimated, so some teams might use that to their advantage.

Ah the World Cup. The joy of wondering at which point England will lose on penalties this time.

I'm not convinced England will make it out of the group stage where it can go to penalties! We are in a tough group.

Want England to do well, even more so now because of the amount of Liverpool players in the team!!! (You'll Never Walk Alone). Thought Uruguay would do well but their defence is SHOCKING, hopefully England beat Uruguay tonight, then can see Germany or Holland going on to win it. Spain are out (LOVE IT, can't beat seeing the underdogs beat the holders), and Brasil aren't going to do anything neither. Going to be some small teams in the quarter-finals, the likes of Chile, Mexico, Croatia could do well, and US of A.

What I love, is the joy in the stadiums, you have different fans of different nations sitting next to each other, all smiling, laughing and enjoying themselves. No ridiculous fighting, arguing, swearing, abuse, racism (as it's in Brasil). No Nazi gestures and no frickin bananas being thrown on the pitch. That's such a great advertisement for sport. Very impressed.
