The customer asked why would that be. I told the costumer that we have been at subzero temperatures and there heat loss was greater. The costumer replied so what your saying is when it gets colder outside the gas company increases your bill. I said no you used more gas because it's colder outside. Customer said that doesn't make sense if my thermostat is set on 70 deg it should cost the same.
How do you respond to that?
