Here I thought that having an Outlook alias would protect my name, I figured that was the purpose for an alias, and it doesn't.
I never tested the Outlook alias accounts before to notice that, but I just realized that it shows my full name when I send from an alias account. -_-
What is the purpose of having an alias account if your real name is shown...
I've only been using Outlook for a few months so....
Is there a way to hide my full name from showing on alias emails? I want to have the accounts on under control from my main email...

Use Hushmail... (and pay a bit) :-)

I've got hundreds of aliases, just make sure your email client doesn't give your name away, such as:

    "FirstName FamilyName" <myalias@nym.hush.com>

    Thanks for letting us know.
Did you use Outlook.com web mail or an email client?
