I just wanted to take a minute to remind everyone that today marks one year since the Virginia Tech tragedy. I'd like everyone to take some time today to remember those lost. Give a thought, a prayer, whatever you can or want to do.

I didn't do this to bring everyone down, only to remind us all that terrible things happen and we need to remember them - in hopes that they are not repeated.Last edited by Chaz; 04-16-08 at 06:06 AM.

- I just said a prayer. They will be in my thoughts and in my heart. Shey that quote is very powerful.

Gregory Peck read this poem at Frank Sinatra"s Funeral.
To Those I Love
by Isla Paschal Richardson
If I should ever leave you,
Whom I love
To go along the silent way. . .
Grieve not.
Nor speak of me with tears.
But laugh and talk of me
As if I were beside you there.
(I'd come. . .I'd come,
Could I but find a way!
But would not tears and
And grief be barriers?)
And when you hear a song
Or see a bird I loved,
Please do not let the thought of me
Be sad. . .for I am loving you
Just as I always have. . .
You were so good to me!
There are so many things
I wanted still to do. . .
So many things I wanted to say
to you. . . Remember that
I did not fear. . . It was
Just leaving you
That was so hard to face.
We cannot see beyond. . .
But this I know:
I loved you so. . .
'twas heaven here with you!04-16-08 09:37 AMLike 0 -

remember that our life can be cut short anytime.
So treasure the moment and do what make you happy,
don't wait for tomorrow, since it may not come.04-17-08 03:50 AMLike 0
