Anyone remember when hardly no one had a mobile and Nokia was growing at an obscene rate with its flagship 3210 and the Nokia 3310 was being sold for peanuts!

It was like mobile carriers wanted phones to be accessible to as much people as possible so they could create a market to sell phone calls and texts in a form of an e-top up.

You could get the flagship phones for under 50. Nowadays you can get cheap phones but they don't do much. But if you want the top flagship phone today it costs you nearly a grand.

How times change in 12 years.

I remember when only construction workers had these huge phones in briefcases. Then "only businessmen" had cell phones (i.e. BlackBerrys) 'cause who else needed them?? Now everyone and his dog has them!

I had one as well. We carried that bag like a brick around from car to car and it looked ridiculous! Was expensive for the times too over 200 buck!
Now I shell out 600 without blinking an eye for my Z and it fits in my pocket!

I miss the 3310 and the good old days when symbian mad the most market share. We were impressed Easley. If something had some poor camera it was the most impressive thing we ever seen and don't get me started about mms and flip phones...and now today we are impressed buy nothing and simply upgrade because everyone is doing it...not because of very useful features.
