Well, you can guess that if the Z10 is getting picky, the PlayBooks are worse. The Main problem is just regular links like yahoo mail, and facebook will not work. Op said that the facebook issue wasn't BB'S problem but FB cut them off or something equally useless. Also can no longer use PBS for my online banking b/c banks upgraded their security. I'm going blind trying to do banking on the small Z10 screen. I've got a Fitbit, doesn't work on PBs and z10 is developer no longer supporting the BlackBerry App he made. So bottom line is BlackBerry no longer worth it. Problem with androids and others is that they want you to use Gmail and I've had my yahoo for over 10 years

Youse can use any email.you want Gmail, or yahoo(now vzw). You set that up when you load the email account(s). You can use any number of email accounts, one will be default, but you can just switch to any account as needs rise. Hillary could have used one phone for as many as ten different accounts. But that's history, maybe.

Go.with Android, device personal choice. Stay away from the krabapple ecosystems.

I'm truly against an Apple/ Samsung world so I would encourage you to look at LG, Motorola, and Google phones. They all have later models that are affordable. Even the Priv might be a good choice for you as it is older now. You will have to have a Gmail account to set the phone up but you don't have to actively use it. You may be able to get your yahoo address and just change the @Gmail part.
