Yes, you should have worded your post a lot better.

You changed from what you said in the original post. You specifically said that those of us who voted for Obama did so, because he's black, and we didn't pay attention to the "issues" — again, that's insulting and simplistic. I'm sure there are folks who didn't vote for him...because he's black, regardless of the issues.

I didn't say you were racist. But I do get sick of folks always adding a, "I"m not a racist" disclaimer, right before they get ready to say something completely off the chain. If you're not racist, then you're not a racist. There's no need to announce it, unless you feel your comments may be interpreted as...racist.

BTW, I'm not going to comment any more. The only reason why I responded is because you changed your tune, after the fact, and I wanted to bring that to your attention. Once you put it out there, it's hard to "clean it up". So, consider how your words may be interpreted (if that matters to you), before you hit "submit".

I didn't take thinkamp's comments as being racist. As black people, when someone disagrees with and about Obama, you're labeled a racist. I just don't agree with the man's socialist, marxist ideology. Do you? This is what I find to be as the typical uninformed or misinformed Obama voter thanks to your liberal media. You're kidding right? We all know Obama says nothing better than anyone before him, he even does it better than slick willy Bill Clinton. You just listen to the way he presents the words to you that makes you fawn over him. But if you actually dissected his message, you would know you were being conned.

There's nothing new about liberalism and socialism. If socialism worked so well, name me one successful socialist country. How about Cuba, there's a socialist nation for you...I don't see many Americans fleeing the USA to get into Cuba but Cubans trying to flee shark infested waters to get to America.

McCain was definitely not my first choice. When the Republican field was widdle down, Mitt Romney was my choice. McCain to me was just the lesser of two evils. I would have voted for Sarah Palin before I would have voted for McCain or Obama. At least she was a true conservative with real accomplishments in an executive position that was actually for smaller government and reduced taxes. The liberal media never liked her and did everything in their power to destroy her and make her look incompetent.

I am a Nobama person. Don't agree with his politics, and really don't care for the man. I think he's pretty much just like any other politician, and will not bring about any kind of "change".


Just gonna put this out there too..... Obama, in my opinion, was not elected because the majority of people truly knew his policies and agenda. I think the people who voted for him for those reasons are in fact the minority. For the most part, I think people voted for him because he is different, walked a good walk, and talked a good talk. A lot of people did also vote for him because he was black, as many voted for him just because he's a democrat, just because he's eloquent, etc etc. A good example of this is when Howard Stern had someone go out and apply McCain's policies to Obama's name, and suddenly people agreed with those policies. A few even thought that "Obama's" VP choice "Sarah Palin" was great, and it would be wonderful to have a woman as a VP.

This may insult people, but the fact of the matter is that the majority of America is not all that bright. Of course there are those who vote for someone because they really study their policies, their statements, their behaviors. But most people just vote for who they "like" the most.

I'm in no way judging you, but to know that you were raised that way is really sad. Do you have friends or other family members that do believe in God? If you do, why don't you talk directly with them about God. If not, seek out others who do and I'm sure they will share their feeling about God with you. It's easy to be a christian when everything in life is going well for you. But your true faith in God is tested when you are at your lowest and see no way out.

I see that you're very young and maybe that's why you have a such a care-free attitude towards life and God. Remember that tomorrow isn't always promised. God loves you and wants to have a relationship with you. If you are truly sincere about wanting to get to know God, through prayer he will present himself to you. God will reveal himself unto you the more you seek him.

Sadly what happened is that people just voted for "change" without realizing what it was. Sure, it's nice we have racial diversity in the Government's highest office, but diversity for the sake of diversity is nothing more than lip service.

I know people who voted for Obama because he's black, because he's not Bush, because he's handsome, and people who wouldn't vote for McCain because he's white, a war hero or because they thought Palin was annoying... in other words, people make political decisions for the stupidest reasons.

I wish there truly was a truth in advertising law in political campaigns with full disclosure of revenue sources... you would see that ALL politicians are basically beholden to their direct constituents and contributors.

Jeesus, I have to tell people every dam side effect of a medicine down to whether or not it gave someone gas one time if they took it... and we aren't allowed to know (or should I say, don't seem to care) who is pulling the strings of our politicians.

Obama just borrowed a couple trillion dollars from your, my and his kids... he had a history of voting for deferring payments and responsibility. Get frosted at that comment if you want, but he pushed Fanny Mae financing scheme and then tried to deny it... and now this bill is about 50% not going to do a damn thing to "stimulate" the economy in any way.

JKF and Roosevelt would frankly, be appalled. They CUT taxes to help stimulate the economy, and before you say that Obama is cutting taxes... take that average $13 a month you are going to get under his plan and send it to Bobby Jindall. lol.
